Legends  and Fairytales, the first Role Playing Game developed by The Hobby Dragon, is written and designed by Peter A. W. Harmsen. It takes table  top Gaming to a whole new level. It will creatively challenge even the most seasoned gamer and bring the best RP out of everybody.

Legends and Fairytales has a few intuitive rules and gives you guidelines on how to improve your role play and the  script. The book is a source of inspiration to bring unique characters  to life. It offers you seven Character Families to choose from, so  whether you want to play something (Almost) Human or an Animation, all those concepts can easily be turned in to a character.

It is The Hobby Dragon’s beliefs that no living or animated being should be treated like a number, which is why all characters in Legends and Fairytales are described in words. Words  are powerful allies when describing someone and offer a good insight in one’s abilities.

There is no preset world in Legends and  Fairytales so you can play Legends and Fairytales in any world that has  legends, fairy tales, myths, sagas, stories and narrations in their  heritage. Ancient Greece, medieval Europe, the undiscovered New World,  all are just examples.

Legends and Fairytales requires more then a  good role of the dice to be successful. The all encompassing Seven  Factors come into play. Story Factor, Cinematic Effect and most  importantly your role play and participation will help you achieve your goal.

Just like any human being, characters learn  everyday. Legends and Fairytales does not use the static levels. There  are many ways in which you can climb the Ladders to achieve a Legendary status!
