Once upon a time….

The Hobby Dragon registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in 2008. It took more then filling out a form for this Dragon to be born.

The Hobby Dragon was conceived in 2006, when it’s founders where day dreaming about Life. Everybody has an idea, call it a vision, on how they think Life should be.

Turning that vision into a reality is the hard part.

It started small, with the first assignment. An unofficial assignment even. The company was not registered; there was not even a name yet. Though the first assignment was there; To create a unforgettable day in a Medieval setting.

It worked! And everybody present believed! Not just the participants, but also the people in the street who happened to be unexpecting bystanders of something that changed the lives of the founders of The Hobby Dragon. That all happened on the day of the summer solstice in 2007.

Shortly after that day, more ideas, more thoughts and long forgotten dreams no longer seemed that far out of reach. Pen and paper was picked up and the writing commenced.

One day, it may have been December 21^st, exactly 6 months after the great day, that an evaluation was made. The progress that was made in 6 months, could that lead to something?

Sometimes you are standing in front of wall. Walls are hard to get through. Also this time, taking a step back allowed the founders to see a door. Doors are handy tools when getting through a wall.

A door was found and it was ajar.

All that needed to be done was to come up with a name before the Dragon could hatch...
